Lighting and power are essential parts of every modern home. From the way rooms are illuminated to the number of outlets available for everyday devices, a well-designed electrical system improves comfort, convenience and safety.

Most homeowners call us for lighting and power work when they've run out of outlets and are relying on double adaptors and power boards, when a room feels dim or unevenly lit, when outdoor entertaining areas have no dedicated power or lighting, or when a renovation, new kitchen, home office or nursery needs extra circuits added before the space is usable.

A typical powerpoint addition takes 1-2 hours per outlet depending on how easily we can run the cable through existing wall cavities. A full room lighting refresh (six to ten downlights plus a switch relocation) is generally a same-day job. Larger jobs — running new sub-circuits from the switchboard, wiring an outdoor pergola, or rewiring a room during a renovation — are quoted as a fixed-price package after an on-site inspection.

Every quoted job includes the site assessment, the cable and accessories (Clipsal or HPM as standard), the labour, the testing and the Certificate of Electrical Safety lodged with Energy Safe Victoria. We tidy up as we go, patch neatly around new outlets where practical, and walk you through the finished work before we leave. If the job uncovers older wiring that isn't safe to reconnect (rubber-insulated cabling, undersized neutrals, unearthed circuits) we'll flag it and quote the remediation separately rather than certify work we can't stand behind.

All installations are completed to current Australian electrical standards and tested thoroughly to ensure reliability and safety.
